Book: The Day of the Triffids - John Wayne Date: August 21, 2026 Opinion: I really enjoyed reading this. It's basically the original 28 Days Later, waking up in a hospital after an apocalypse. Basically the world has gone blind and there is a newly discovered plant that is able to move and kill people. It's kind of horrifying and very dark at times but also very analytical. It reminded me a lot of War of the Worlds which I also really enjoyed. 4/5
