Auctions! Who doesn't like a good auction? Well Railway Boom is basically 4 auctions masquerading as a game. Over 4 rounds you do 4 auctions to determine turn order for 4 different actions, using 4 different resources. I did enjoy it but it definitely helps to have played to better understand the value of things you are bidding on.

The galaxy and the ground within - Becky Chambers

This is clearly a covid book, the plot involves a small group of strangers isolated from the outside world, as the authorities work to restore planet wide travel. While it is a light and simple story it is very engaging and we'll written. I'm continually delighted reading Becky Chambers works and this was no different. I look forward to I more of her works. 4.5/5

Finally I have my email to blog pipeline built! Multiple years in the making. Claude Code greatly reduced the effort and complexity of building and hosting it on Digital Ocean. I only see a future with more custom software now that AI can assist with development.
