Game: Sanctuary Date: January 4, 2026 Impression: Ark Nova's simpler sibling. Definitely distills a lot of what makes Ark Nova good. It focuses more on the zoo map and removes the scoring contention for the worse if you ask me. It's definitely shorter so I'd play it if offered but I don't think it's better then Ark Nova. Design Thoughts: I really like the action card flow from Ark Nova, where using them resets them and increases others. Similar is implemented here but not as affectively if you ask me, with only 4 actions instead of 5 the range between worst and best isnt as satisfying.
